Teams consist of four members. Main categories – OPEN, ACADEMICS.
Members of each team must go through the whole competition together as a mandatory order race marked in map by checkpoints.
Check points will be marked in the terrain by orienteering flag markers with punches.
Teams mark CPs into their common card.
In case of loss of orienteering flag marker, team leaves a ribbon with their team number on spot or makes a photo of the location.
Teams contest in the spirit of fair play.
Competitors start at their own risk and the organizer is not responsible for their health and life (competitors will sign a proclamation at the check in).
Competitors are obliged to help rivals in case of life or health danger.
Competitors start with visibly placed numbers and keep them for the whole competition.
Competitors start with and keep the required equipment for the entire competition. They must have required equipment for individual stages.
The organizer may stop and check the team’s required equipment any time during the competition.
The organizer reserves the right to change the track or time limits in case of circumstances seriously disturbing the competition.
Any outer help is forbidden during the competition.
Use of GPS and night vision equipment is forbidden.
Except of danger of health or life making fire is forbidden. It is forbidden to leave thrash outside designated areas.
In case of breaking any of the rules, team will be either penalized or disqualified depending on seriousness of the infraction.
All the checkpoints and special tasks are mandatory. If a team misses part of the course, or misses limit and is lead through the short-course, it is classified behind all the teams that fulfill the full course. The decisive criterion is place of first shortening of the course.
All the limits are written in the CPs description document. Time limit 75 hours is approximate only.
For every missing part of mandatory equipment found by an organizer on the course there is a 20 minutes penalty and competitors have to wait on spot at the time when they get the penalty.
All team members are obliged to get right to the CPs – not necessarily with their bikes.
Rezignation to the competition
In case of disability of any team member the whole team will be disqualified. In exceptionl case a team can ask for transport by organizers into the nearest TA (and it may take some time).
The team may continue in the race out of the competition with at least two members. But without possibility of transport by organizers.
If the team decides to leave the competition it is obliged to announce it to the organizer as soon as possible.
In case of health or life jeopardy the organizer reserves the right to stop the team any time during the competition.
Refreshment and Material supplies on the track
Competitors may use local shops and restaurants to fill their supplies.
Organizer doesn’t provide any refreshment on the track.
Competitors may prepare necessary material supplies for the individual stages in their own tents, cabin or cars in race center.
Boxes/bags for TA2 must be supplied to a marked place by Thursday 16th of September 2021, 7:30 a.m. Maximum is two bags with cumulative volume of 100 liters.
